Get in touch.
One working day to come back to you. We read everything that comes through this form directly.
What to get in touch about
Live contract administration on an NEC3, JBCC, GCC or FIDIC project, a template pack order, or a custom AI contract assistant for your firm: the services page sets out what each involves. Pick the matching topic in the form so the message reaches the right place.
Corrections are welcome too. If a rate on a cost page or a calculator looks wrong for your area, send the figure and where it came from, and we’ll check it against the source.
What to include so we can answer properly
A short message with the right details gets a useful reply on the first pass. Depending on what you are asking about:
- Contract administration: the form of contract and edition (for example NEC3 ECC Option A or JBCC PBA), your role on the project, the contract value and stage, and the issue you need help with. If there is a deadline, such as a notification period running, say so at the top.
- Template packs: which pack, the name of the firm the licence is for, and the email address the files should go to. For an order already placed, include the payment reference.
- AI contract assistant: the contract forms your team uses, roughly how many people would use it, and whether you have standard amendments or Z-clauses you want it to know.
- Cost data or calculators: the page, the figure, and what you are comparing it with, including the source and location.
What happens next
Every message is read by a person, and replies go out within one working day. For paid work, the reply sets out the scope, the fee and the timing in writing before anything starts, and work begins only once you have accepted it. If your question is better answered by one of the free tools or guides, the reply will point you there instead.
Setout is based in Bloemfontein, in the Free State. If your question is about a specific project, say where the project is: rates, approvals and contractor availability all vary by location, and the answer may depend on it.
Please do not send confidential tender documents or contract drawings in a first message. Describe the issue first; if documents are needed, we will agree how to share them.
